As the volume of PET scans increases, so does radiation exposure to personnel, patients, and visitors. In response to this growing safety concern, Capintec has developed Modular Personal Shields. Designed with the flexibility to adapt to a wide variety of facility configurations, standard 4 ft high interlocking panels are available in 3, 4 and 5 ft lengths with either .25 inch or .5 inch lead. Optional wall mount brackets also available.

These shields are ideal for adding an extra layer of protection, and assuring radiation levels are As Low As Reasonably Achievable in the most cost effective manner.
